Objectives: The aim of this study was to evaluate cellular indicators, which change with exposure ultraviolet (UV) radiation and can be used as parameters for measuring sunscreens efficiency. Methods: Commercial strains L929 HaCaT cells (skin dermis epidermis, respectively), from the cell bank Rio de Janeiro, were exposed different doses UVA (350 nm) UVB (309 radiation. evaluation photoprotective potential analyzed viability, lipid peroxidation ROS generation tests.
